Mike’s tDCS Meta-Analysis Published in Neuropsychologia
Congrats to Mike for his first paper of graduate school being published in Neuropsychologia. Mike used meta-analysis to understand the effects of single-session tDCS to understand its affects on executive function. Mike found that tDCS improved working memory updating, but didn’t impact task shifting and inhibition. Critically, he found that the effect of tDCS on global executive function was moderated by electrode size, with improved performance when electrodes were smaller than 25 cm2.
